Car Insurance Sterling (Car Insurance). Why Do The Back Of My Car Leans a Little to the Driver Side? Why Do The Back Of My Car Leans a Little to the Driver Side? Car Leans to the driver side a little....i have a suspension problem my car doesnt lift up anymore when weight is in the back Put weight in your car, it is supposed to get lower... not higher. Open trunk. Look on the left side. Is there lots of stuff on that side and not the other? Then you found the problem. Center the stuff and then tie it down do that it doesn't move around. worn out springs It sounds like a shock or spring problem You should be able to get it inspected for free. Then you will know for sure. Hope that helps. Cars that lean on the drivers side have been prone to having more weight on that side. Hefty owners can cause this. Try putting new shocks in the rear. If that doesn't help put some sand bags on the passenger side to even it up..... LOL. Auto parts : Automatic Transmission Selector Handle Acura 1995 . Sterling . How to Install Saddlebags on a Honda BikeThe Japanese auto manufacturer, Honda, is closely associated with making quality cars, minivans and SUVs, but their motorcycle offerings have been thrilling customers for decades. Customers have the option to include saddlebags when they custom order their new Shadow or Valkyrie from a dealer. Saddlebags allow the rider to carry personal belongings with them when they hit the road. Saddlebags can also be added as an aftermarket option and can be installed by do-it-yourselfers in relatively little time. Difficulty:Moderately Challenging Instructions Things You'll Need Allen wrench Wire snips Heat shrink tubing Spool of wiring Soldering iron Heat gun Turn signal spacers Adjustable wrench Saddlebag installation kit Step by Step : 1 Pull up on your seat on the motorcycle to loosen it and remove it. Disconnect both battery cables and remove the battery. This gives you access to the connective wires that lead to the taillights. Remove the wires from their connection. Use an Allen wrench to remove the holding bolts on the cycle's rear fender. Once it's loose enough, slide it down and off the bike. 2 Take off the right and left signal lights, but note which assembly belongs to which light. This will save you some frustration when you reassemble the lights later. Snip a few inches of wiring from each end of each signal wire and thread an inch of heat shrink tubing over the snipped ends. Snip two separate 2-foot lengths of wiring from the spool and heat up your soldering iron. 3 Solder the ends of each 2 foot wire in place, with one end connected to the connector and the other to the turn signal. Use some heat shrink tubing over the connection and melt into place with a heat gun. Remove the license plate, install the turn signal spacers, reattach the plate and reassemble the signal light assemblies. You've created the space necessary to accommodate the saddlebags appropriately. 4 Take off the reflectors with an adjustable wrench. Place the mounting spool included with the saddlebag installation kit in place of the reflectors. Place the washers from the kit over the holes in the spool and secure the spool to the bike using the holding bolts and supplied nuts. Lay the saddlebags onto the bike, lining up the holes on the bags with the spools and securing them with the restraining lock pins.
Sterling . How to Install a Tail Light Relocation Kit on A Harley-DavidsonHarley riders usually need to relocate their tail lights before they can install saddlebags on their motorcycles. The motor company has engineered many of its bikes so that the purchase of a set of saddlebags also requires the purchase of a kit to relocate the taillights, so the saddlebags will fit At that point, many casual riders give up and have the dealer handle the relocation, which is straightforward. Anyone attempting a taillight relocation needs a well-equipped workshop, patience and dexterity, but the job is not difficult. Difficulty:Moderately Easy Instructions Things You'll Need Basic mechanic tools Rear turn signal relocation kit Motorcycle jack Heat shrink tubing Heat gun Scissors Masking tape Pen Cable ties Step by Step : 1 Elevate the motorcycle on a motorcycle jack. The wheel must hang down so you can access the inside of the fender. 2 Unscrew the rear seat stud with an Allen wrench. Remove the seat. Disconnect the black battery cable from the negative battery terminal. 3 Remove the plastic plug from the tail lamp access hole inside the rear fender. 4 Remove the turn signal wires and connectors from the inside of the tail lamp housing, then remove the turn signal wires from the clips inside the fender. Separate the four-way turn signal socket housings from the rear lighting harness pin housings. 5 Unplug the gray four-way tail lamp connector from the mating connector in the tail lamp housing. Mark for reference with masking tape and a pen and remove the wires from both socket housings. 6 Remove the screw at the front of the fender mounting bracket, as well as the screw and washer at the rear of the fender mounting bracket. Remove the turn signal lamp, fender rail and mounting bracket from the Harley. 7 Cut one piece of heat shrink tubing into two equal sections with scissors. Slide one piece of the tubing over the turn signal wires, all the way up to the lamp housing on each side of the motorcycle. Use a heat gun to shrink the tubing. 8 Install the turn signal lamp wires through the small hole in the recess cover. Position the cover into the recess in the turn signal housing. 9 Loosely attach the hex nut and lock washer onto the turn signal relocation bracket. Loosely attach the turn signal lamp and recess cover onto the threaded end of the turn signal relocation bracket. Step by Step : 10 Align the relocation bracket with the rear of the fender support. Fit the round pad into the mating hole in the support. Step by Step : 11 Install the rear fender rail with your original equipment hardware or the hardware specified in your saddlebag mounting instructions. Install the turn signal relocation bracket to the rear fender and fender rail. Step by Step : 12 Aim each turn signal lens straight back. Tighten the hex nut and lock washer with a wrench. Complete all steps for both sides of the motorcycle. Step by Step : 13 Install the turn signal wires and terminals into each cavity of the turn signal socket housings. Step by Step : 14 Route the turn signal wires under the turn signal relocation bracket and under the rear fender edge on each side of the vehicle. Connect the turn signal socket housings to the pin housings on the rear lighting harness. Step by Step : 15 Plug the gray, four-way tail lamp connector on the rear lighting harness into the mating connector in the tail lamp housing under the fender. Gently push the turn signal wires and connectors into the cavity inside the tail lamp housing and install the plastic plug into the tail lamp access hole in the rear fender. Step by Step : 16 Route the turn signal wire under the signal relocation bracket and secure it to the bracket with a cable tie. Step by Step : 17 Install your saddlebags or re-bolt the fender rails to your fender using the original hardware. *tor needs overhauling, let a professional do the job. Of course, overhaul kits with instructions are available. If you're determined to do the job yourself, look for a good auto repair course and do it under an instructor's supervi sion. (See the section "Float Level Adjustments" in Chapter 13 for more information about adjusting the float.) The (/enturi Because the faster the air moves, the more liquid it can pick up, the carbure tor was very cleverly designed so that air picks up speed as it passes through the carburetor barrel. Here's what happens: Inside the barrel is a chamber called a venturi (see Figure 6-5), which gets narrower as it nears the opening 301

When the air gets to this narrow part of the ven turi, it picks up speed, creating a vacuum just at the point where the opening occurs. This vacuum draws the fuel out of the float bowl and mixes it with the air, creating what's called the fuel/air mixture. The air and the fuel travel in this form to the cylinders, where combustion occurs. Butterfly valve Float -Carburetor barrel > Venturi Sterling . How to Rent a lexus in san francisco?

And M 's the pressuie caused by the rapid expansion of explodmq gases that drives the engine. The only way lo get gasoline to explode is to mix it with air hence the necessity of the fuel air mixture. This, incidentally, is why so many accidents occur with npat-empty gasoline cans People tend lo think that ;in .llmost-emply can of qasohne is harmless, hut this is when il's at its most dangeious1 The 'pmpty" can still contains o tiny bit ot gasoline, and you need only one pan ot gasoline lo 9,000 parts of air lo rjel a combustible mixture! (See the sidebar called "How to dispose of empty gasolinp cans safnly' in Chapter!) The choke At the top of the carburetor barrel, looking up at you after you remove the air cleaner, is the choke (see the sidebar "Automatic chokes"). The choke limits the supply of air entering the venturi in order to enrich the fuel/air mixture. The choke consists of a little adjustable butterfly valve that can open and close. When you go out to start your car in the morning, the choke helps you start and warm up the engine faster. Here's how: When your car is cold, as much as one-third of the gasoline can condense on the cold metal parts of the carburetor, leaving only two-thirds of the fuel/air mixture on its way to the engine. This amount is not enough for proper combustion, so your car won't start properly. To enrich the mixture, the butterfly valve on the choke stays closed, inhibiting the supply of air. Sterling . Automatic chokes Cars used to have manual chokes, which you controlled by a knob on the dashboard. Today, most cars have automatic chokes that work by means of a spring that coils and uncoils in response to the amount of heat present. This spring eventually causes the butterfly valve to open and close. If you have an automatic choke, chances are that it's controlled by a thermostat located on the outside of the carburetor, either at the top of Butterfly valve Choke thermostat Sterling .
